Rattan (Chinese TV series)

Rattan (司藤, Si Teng) is a 2021 Chinese fantasy romance television series directed by Li Muge and starring Jing Tian and Vin Zhang. It is based on the novel of the same name by Wei Yu.

The series tells the story of Qin Fang, a young architect, who accidentally revives Si Teng, a powerful and mysterious Rattan demon from the Republican era. Si Teng, initially using Qin Fang for her own purposes, gradually develops a complex relationship with him as they work together to uncover her past and face the challenges of the modern world. Qin Fang, in turn, helps Si Teng adapt to contemporary society and understand human emotions.
