John Yorke (1633–1663)

John Yorke (1633–1663) was an English landowner and politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1660.

Yorke was the son of Sir John Yorke and Philadelphia Mainwaring. He inherited extensive estates in Yorkshire upon his father's death.

In April 1660, Yorke was elected Member of Parliament for Richmond in the Convention Parliament. He did not stand for re-election afterwards.

Yorke married Anne Munday, daughter of Sir Henry Munday of Checkendon, Oxfordshire. He died in 1663 and was buried at Goulthwaite. His son, also named John Yorke, inherited his estates and later served as High Sheriff of Yorkshire.
