Rakičan

Rakičan is a village in the Municipality of Murska Sobota, in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia. It is located approximately 3 kilometers south of the city of Murska Sobota.

Rakičan is primarily an agricultural area, but it also has a growing residential sector due to its proximity to Murska Sobota. The village is known for its St. Roch Church, a small church with a notable history.

Historically, Rakičan was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and subsequently Yugoslavia before becoming part of independent Slovenia in 1991.

The area is easily accessible by road and is served by local bus routes connecting it to Murska Sobota and other nearby villages.
