Get Wet (band)

Get Wet was an American indie pop band formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2010. The band consisted of Peter Matthew Bauer (vocals, guitar, previously of The Walkmen), Quentin Stoltzfus (guitar, keyboards, previously of Mazarin), John Agnello (bass), and Matt Barrick (drums, also of The Walkmen).

Known for their melodic songcraft, catchy hooks, and introspective lyrics, Get Wet released their self-titled debut album in 2010 on Fat Possum Records. The album was generally well-received by critics, who praised its blend of indie rock sensibilities and pop accessibility.

While Get Wet toured and gained a following in the indie music scene, they ultimately disbanded after a relatively short career. Members went on to pursue other musical projects, including solo work and collaborations with other artists. Peter Matthew Bauer has released several solo albums since Get Wet's dissolution.
