Mount Crowder (Washington)

Mount Crowder is a summit located in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness of the Cascade Range in Washington state. It is situated in Chelan County, within the drainage of the Icicle Creek, a tributary of the Wenatchee River. The mountain is named for George B. Crowder, who served as a Forest Ranger in the Wenatchee National Forest.

The peak offers views of surrounding mountains, including peaks within the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. It is accessible via hiking trails, often requiring some degree of off-trail navigation. Due to its location in a designated wilderness area, motorized vehicles are prohibited.

Mount Crowder is characterized by typical Cascade alpine terrain, including exposed rock, subalpine meadows, and coniferous forests at lower elevations. The area experiences significant snowfall during winter months.
