Quest (2017 film)
Quest is a 2017 American documentary film directed by Jonathan Olshefski. The film chronicles the life of Christopher “Quest” Rainey and his wife, Christine’a “Ma Quest” Rainey, an African-American family living in North Philadelphia over the course of a decade.
The film offers a raw and intimate look at the challenges and triumphs faced by the Rainey family as they navigate issues of poverty, violence, community activism, and personal growth. Quest and Ma Quest run a home music studio where they nurture young artists and serve as pillars of their community.
