Que (tower)

The word "Que," when translated from Spanish, means "what," "that," or "which." However, in this context, it appears to refer to a specific tower, the Torre Que (Que Tower).

The Torre Que, located in Madrid, Spain, is one of the four towers that comprise the Cuatro Torres Business Area (CTBA). Originally named Torre Caja Madrid and later Torre Bankia, it was subsequently renamed Torre PwC and then simply Torre Que.

Designed by architects Enrique Álvarez-Sala Walter and Norman Foster, the tower stands at a height of 248.3 meters (815 feet), making it one of the tallest structures in Spain. Its distinguishing feature is its unique wedge-shaped, or "que" (Spanish for "what"), top, which is how it received its current, simplified name.

The tower's structural design incorporates a steel framework clad in glass and steel panels. It houses office space and is a prominent landmark in Madrid's skyline. The Torre Que exemplifies modern architectural principles, combining functionality with aesthetic appeal. Its construction was completed in 2009.
