Buccheri
Buccheri is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Syracuse, Sicily, Italy. It is located about 180 kilometers (110 mi) southeast of Palermo and about 40 kilometers (25 mi) west of Syracuse. The town is situated on a hillside and known for its historical architecture, including several churches and palazzi dating back to the medieval period. Buccheri is considered one of the borghi più belli d'Italia (most beautiful villages in Italy). The economy is primarily agricultural, with a focus on olive oil production. Tourism also contributes to the local economy.
