Lewis Jackson (basketball, born 1989)
Lewis Jackson (born February 18, 1989) is an American professional basketball player. He is a point guard who most recently played for the Halifax Hurricanes of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC).
Jackson played college basketball for Cleveland State University from 2007 to 2012. He was a four-year starter for the Vikings and helped lead them to the 2009 NCAA Tournament, where they upset Wake Forest in the first round. During his college career, Jackson was known for his playmaking ability and defensive tenacity. He earned All-Horizon League honors multiple times.
After going undrafted in the 2012 NBA draft, Jackson began his professional career overseas. He has played in several countries, including Germany, Finland, and Canada.
In the NBL Canada, Jackson has played for the Saint John Riptide and the Halifax Hurricanes. He was named to the NBL Canada All-Star team in 2018.
