Putz-head

Putz-head is a derogatory slang term, primarily used in the Northeastern United States, particularly in the New York City area. It is generally considered an insult meaning "idiot," "fool," or "stupid person."

The word "putz" itself is Yiddish in origin, ultimately derived from the German word "Putzen," meaning "to clean" or "to polish." In Yiddish slang, "putz" often refers to the male genitalia.
