Psyren

Psyren is a Japanese science fiction manga series written and illustrated by Toshiaki Iwashiro. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2007 to 2010, with its individual chapters collected into 16 tankōbon volumes.

The story revolves around Yoshina Ageha, a high school student who makes money by helping people in trouble. He receives a mysterious card with the word "Psyren" printed on it. After assisting a classmate, Sakurako Amamiya, who also possesses the card, he finds himself drawn into a deadly game where he and others with psychic abilities are transported to a desolate future world ravaged by a phenomenon called "Psyren."

The series follows Ageha and his companions as they struggle to survive in this hostile future, uncover the truth behind Psyren, and attempt to prevent the dystopian future from ever occurring. The manga explores themes of survival, friendship, sacrifice, and the consequences of unchecked technological advancement.
