Mary Hamm (tennis)
Mary Hamm was an American tennis player active primarily in the 1940s and 1950s. Although biographical details remain sparse, she is known for her participation in major tournaments, particularly the U.S. National Championships (now the U.S. Open). She achieved notable success, including reaching the Women's Doubles final at the U.S. Nationals in 1948, partnering with Doris Hart. They lost to Louise Brough and Margaret Osborne duPont. Hamm also competed in singles and mixed doubles events at the U.S. Nationals. Further research into contemporary tennis publications and archives would be required to create a more comprehensive biography.
