Ḫalmašuit was a major goddess in the Elamite pantheon. She was considered the supreme goddess and consort to the chief god, Inšušinak, particularly at Susa, a major Elamite city. Ḫalmašuit's name may mean "the seat" or "the throne," suggesting her role as a powerful and established figure within the divine hierarchy. She was associated with fertility, motherhood, and protection of the royal lineage.
