Prince of Lan Ling is a 2013 Taiwanese-Chinese historical drama television series starring Feng Shaofeng, Ariel Lin, and Daniel Chan. It is also known under the alternate titles Lan Ling Wang and Lan Ling King.
Synopsis:
The series is loosely based on the life of Gao Changgong (541–573), also known as the Prince of Lan Ling, a legendary general of the Northern Qi dynasty of ancient China. The story follows the intertwined lives of Gao Changgong, a celebrated and courageous military leader known for his handsome appearance which he often masked with an intimidating mask in battle, and Yang Xuewu, a gifted and kind-hearted woman from a hidden village who foresees a tragic fate for Gao Changgong and becomes entangled in the political intrigues and warfare of the Northern Qi and Northern Zhou dynasties. Their romance blossoms amidst the chaos of war, but their love is threatened by power struggles, betrayals, and the prophecies surrounding their relationship.
