Pompeii (EP)

Pompeii (EP) is a self-released extended play (EP) by British indie pop band Bastille. Released on February 15, 2013, it served as a precursor to their debut studio album, Bad Blood. The EP contains four tracks, including a demo version of their breakthrough single "Pompeii". Other tracks included are "Overjoyed", "Sleepsong", and "Laura Palmer". The EP was primarily available digitally and helped to build anticipation and a fanbase for Bastille leading up to the release of Bad Blood in March 2013. The success of "Pompeii" both on the EP and subsequently as a single cemented Bastille's rise to prominence in the UK and internationally.
