Pippalada

Pippalada is a revered sage (rishi) in Hinduism, particularly known for being the central figure in the Prashna Upanishad, one of the major Upanishads associated with the Atharvaveda. The Prashna Upanishad presents him as a wise teacher who is approached by six students (or prashnas - questions) seeking enlightenment on various philosophical and spiritual matters concerning the nature of Brahman, the cosmos, the self (Atman), and liberation (moksha).
