Southwestern College (Kansas)
Southwestern College is a private, four-year, liberal arts college located in Winfield, Kansas, United States. Founded in 1885 by the Southwest Kansas Conference of the Methodist Church, the college maintains a relationship with the United Methodist Church.
The college offers bachelor's degrees in a variety of disciplines, including arts, sciences, and pre-professional programs. Southwestern College also offers graduate programs in education and business.
The main campus is located in Winfield, Kansas. The college also has several professional studies locations throughout Kansas.
Southwestern College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The college's athletic teams, known as the Moundbuilders, compete in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The college's colors are purple and white.
