Mike Wheeler is an American NASCAR Cup Series crew chief. He is currently the crew chief for Bubba Wallace and the No. 23 Toyota Camry XSE for 23XI Racing.

Wheeler's career as a crew chief began in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Joe Gibbs Racing, where he led drivers such as Denny Hamlin and Brian Vickers to victories. He moved to the Cup Series in 2015, also with Joe Gibbs Racing, initially serving as the crew chief for Denny Hamlin in the No. 11 Toyota. During his tenure with Hamlin, Wheeler achieved significant success, including multiple race wins and playoff appearances.

In 2019, Wheeler was re-assigned within Joe Gibbs Racing to be the crew chief for Erik Jones in the No. 20 Toyota. After the 2019 season, he left Joe Gibbs Racing.

In 2020, Wheeler joined Richard Childress Racing as the crew chief for Ty Dillon in the No. 13 Chevrolet.

In 2022, Wheeler moved to 23XI Racing to become the crew chief for Bubba Wallace. He guided Wallace to his second career Cup Series win at Kansas Speedway in September 2022 and his third career win at Talladega Superspeedway in October 2023. His strategic decisions and leadership have been credited with improving Wallace's performance and the overall competitiveness of the No. 23 team.
