Aarya (film)

Aarya is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film directed by Sukumar. Produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the film stars Allu Arjun, Anuradha Mehta, and Siva Balaji in the lead roles. The film's music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Aarya revolves around the character of Aarya (Allu Arjun), a carefree and extroverted young man who instantly falls in love with Geetha (Anuradha Mehta) upon seeing her. However, Geetha is already engaged to Ajay (Siva Balaji), a possessive and violent man. The film follows Aarya's persistent and unconventional pursuit of Geetha's affections, while Geetha struggles to reconcile her feelings for Aarya with her commitment to Ajay.

The film is notable for its stylish direction, Devi Sri Prasad's popular soundtrack, and Allu Arjun's energetic performance, which earned him significant recognition. Aarya was a commercial success and is considered a breakthrough film for Allu Arjun and Sukumar. The film also won several awards. A sequel, Aarya 2, was released in 2009.
