Peter González (footballer)

Peter Federico González Carmona (born 25 July 2002), commonly known as Peter, is a Dominican Republic international footballer who plays as a winger for Valencia CF, on loan from Real Madrid.

Early Life and Career:

Born in Madrid, Spain, to Dominican parents, Peter began his youth career with Getafe CF before joining Real Madrid's academy, La Fábrica, in 2015. He progressed through the various youth levels, impressing with his speed and dribbling ability.

Club Career:

Peter made his professional debut for Real Madrid Castilla, the club's reserve team, in 2020. He regularly featured for Castilla in the Segunda División B and later the Primera Federación, showcasing his potential and contributing goals and assists. He made his first-team debut for Real Madrid on December 22, 2021, in a La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao, coming on as a substitute. He has since made sporadic appearances for the first team, primarily in cup competitions and late stages of league matches.

In August 2024, Peter joined Valencia CF on a season-long loan, seeking more regular playing time in La Liga.

International Career:

Peter is eligible to represent both Spain and the Dominican Republic internationally. He chose to represent the Dominican Republic, making his debut for the national team in a friendly match.
