Largo Bay

Largo Bay is a large bay located on the east coast of Fife, Scotland. It stretches approximately 12 miles from Ruddons Point in the west to Kincraig Point in the east. The bay is bounded to the north by a relatively low-lying coastal plain, and to the south by the Firth of Forth.

Historically, Largo Bay has been important for fishing, trade, and transportation. Several villages and towns are situated along its coastline, including Lundin Links, Lower Largo, Upper Largo, and Leven. These settlements have benefited from the bay's access to the North Sea and its sheltered waters.

The bay is known for its sandy beaches and coastal scenery, making it a popular destination for recreation and tourism. Activities such as walking, birdwatching, and watersports are common.

The ecosystems within and surrounding Largo Bay are diverse, supporting various species of birds, marine life, and plant life. Conservation efforts are in place to protect the natural environment of the bay.
