Paula (1952 film)

Paula is a 1952 American drama film directed by Rudolph Maté, starring Loretta Young, Kent Smith, and Alexander Knox. The film centers on Paula Rogers (Loretta Young), a woman haunted by a past accident in which she accidentally struck and seemingly killed a young deaf boy with her car. Several years later, Paula, consumed by guilt and seeking redemption, discovers a deaf teenager, John (Tommy Rettig), living in an orphanage.
