Kouaoua

Kouaoua is a commune in the South Province of New Caledonia, an overseas territory of France. It is located on the east coast of the main island, Grande Terre. Kouaoua is primarily known for its nickel mining activities. The economy of the region is heavily reliant on these mining operations.
