Anelka

Nicolas Anelka (born March 14, 1979) is a French former professional footballer who played as a forward. A versatile player, he was capable of playing as a main striker, second striker, or winger.

Anelka began his professional career at Paris Saint-Germain but soon moved to Arsenal. He later played for Real Madrid, Liverpool (on loan), Manchester City, Fenerbahçe, Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea, Shanghai Shenhua, Juventus (on loan), West Bromwich Albion, and Mumbai City. He also had a second spell at Paris Saint-Germain.

Throughout his career, Anelka won numerous trophies, including Premier League titles with Arsenal and Chelsea, a Champions League title with Real Madrid, and league titles in Turkey and Italy.

He also represented France at international level, earning 69 caps and scoring 14 goals. He was a member of the French squad that won Euro 2000. However, his international career was marked by controversy, including being sent home from the 2010 World Cup for reportedly insulting then-manager Raymond Domenech.
