Parailia
Parailia is a genus of small catfish belonging to the family Schilbeidae. These fish are native to freshwater habitats in Africa. They are characterized by their elongated, compressed bodies and the presence of long barbels around their mouths. Parailia species are often transparent or translucent, giving them a somewhat ghostly appearance in the water. They are generally peaceful fish and are sometimes kept in aquariums, although their specific care requirements are not always widely known. Their diet typically consists of small invertebrates. Parailia species are found in a variety of river systems and lakes across the African continent.
