P ring
The P ring is the innermost of Saturn's main rings. It is a faint and tenuous ring located inside the F ring and extends from the Roche division to the inner edge of the F ring. Its existence was confirmed by the Voyager missions. The P ring is believed to be primarily composed of water ice particles, similar to the other rings of Saturn. The exact origin and dynamics of the P ring are still under investigation. While its boundaries are relatively defined, its particle density is significantly lower than the brighter A, B, and C rings. Its appearance is relatively uniform along its radial extent, lacking the distinct features seen in some of Saturn's other rings.
