Płonno
Płonno is a Polish adjective meaning "infertile," "barren," or "sterile." It is most often used to describe land or soil that is unable to produce vegetation or crops due to poor quality, lack of nutrients, or other environmental factors. It can also be used, though less frequently, to describe a female animal that is unable to reproduce. Figuratively, "płonny" can describe something unproductive or unsuccessful. The word derives from the Polish root "płon," related to burning out or being depleted.
