Pölchow

Pölchow is a municipality in the Rostock district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is located approximately 15 kilometers east of Rostock. The municipality consists of the localities of Pölchow, Griebnitz, and Wahrstorf.

The history of Pölchow dates back to the Middle Ages, with the first documented mention occurring in the 13th century. The area is primarily agricultural.

Pölchow's administrative affairs are managed by the local government (Gemeindevertretung) and the mayor (Bürgermeister). The municipality is part of the Amt Tessin, an administrative association.
