Nicholas Kendall (Conservative politician)

Nicholas Kendall (born 23 May 1940) is a former British Conservative politician.

He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Grantham from 1983 to 1987. He defeated the incumbent Labour MP, Joseph Godman Irvine, in the 1983 general election.

During his time in Parliament, Kendall served on various select committees. He lost his seat in the 1987 general election to Quentin Davies of the Labour Party. He did not return to frontline politics after this defeat.

Before entering Parliament, Kendall was a barrister. Further biographical details, regarding his education and career prior to 1983, are sparse in readily available public records. His political views were aligned with the Conservative party platform during the Thatcher era, though specific policy positions are difficult to definitively ascertain due to limited public statements beyond general support for the government.
