Nan Allely

Nan Allely is an academic specializing in autism spectrum conditions (ASC), with a particular focus on offending behavior, victimization, and the intersection of autism and the criminal justice system. She is a Professor of Forensic Psychology and Director of the Autism Centre for Excellence (ACE) at Nottingham Trent University.

Allely's research explores the vulnerabilities of individuals with autism, particularly in relation to their potential for being victims of crime, as well as circumstances where they might be involved in offending. Her work often examines the cognitive and social factors that may contribute to these outcomes, such as difficulties in social understanding, communication, and interpreting social cues.
