Nalolo (constituency)
Nalolo is a parliamentary constituency in Zambia. It is located in the Western Province. It covers the area of Nalolo District. Prior to the creation of Nalolo District, the constituency covered a larger area within the Senanga District. The Member of Parliament for Nalolo is elected using the first-past-the-post system. The constituency is considered to be a stronghold of the Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) historically, although other parties such as the United Party for National Development (UPND) have also seen electoral success there. The socio-economic conditions in the constituency are largely characterized by agriculture and fishing, reflecting the geography of the region bordering the Zambezi River.
