Mollösund

Mollösund is a small village and a former municipality situated on the island of Orust in Bohuslän, Sweden. It is located on the western coast of the island and faces the Skagerrak sea. Historically a fishing community, Mollösund retains its character with well-preserved wooden houses and a harbor that is still active, although tourism now plays a significant role in the local economy.

The former municipality of Mollösund was incorporated into the larger Orust Municipality in 1952.
