Michael O'Connor (Canadian football)

Michael O'Connor (born November 15, 1995) is a Canadian professional football quarterback who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

O'Connor played college football for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds. During his time there, he led the Thunderbirds to the 2015 Vanier Cup championship, earning MVP honors. He was selected in the third round, 21st overall, by the Toronto Argonauts in the 2019 CFL Draft.

O'Connor signed with the Toronto Argonauts on May 16, 2019. He was released on January 28, 2021. He then signed with the Calgary Stampeders in March 2022 and was released in May 2023. He has served primarily as a backup quarterback throughout his professional career.
