Ronald Martin (American football)
Ronald Martin (born March 2, 1991) is an American football safety who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU).
Early Life and High School:
Martin attended West Monroe High School in West Monroe, Louisiana. He was a highly-rated recruit.
College Career:
Martin played for the LSU Tigers from 2010 to 2013. He played in multiple games throughout his career and contributed as a defensive back and on special teams.
Professional Career:
Martin was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks in 2014. He was later signed by the New York Jets in 2015, where he saw considerable playing time. After his time with the Jets, he spent time with various other NFL teams, including the Indianapolis Colts and the Kansas City Chiefs. His NFL career included periods on active rosters and practice squads. He primarily played as a safety and contributed on special teams.
