John Ramsay (footballer, born 1896)

John Ramsay (born 1896, date of death unknown) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as an outside right.

Ramsay began his career with Duntocher Hibernian before moving to England to join Football League side Lincoln City in 1920. He made 21 league appearances for Lincoln, scoring one goal, before returning to Scotland.

In 1921, Ramsay signed for Dumbarton. He played for Dumbarton for one season, appearing in 26 league matches and scoring 4 goals. His known footballing career concluded after his time at Dumbarton. Further details of his life and career are currently unavailable.
