Esslingen (electoral district)

The Esslingen electoral district (German: Wahlkreis Esslingen) is an electoral constituency in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is used to elect a member of the Bundestag, the German federal parliament. The constituency covers the district of Esslingen.

The district is known to be generally conservative. In recent federal elections, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) has often been the strongest party. However, the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the Green Party (Die Grünen) also have significant support within the district.

The boundaries of the electoral district are periodically reviewed and may be subject to change to ensure that each district has roughly the same number of eligible voters. The current configuration of the Esslingen electoral district encompasses the entirety of the Esslingen administrative district (Landkreis).
