Miřetice (Chrudim District)
Miřetice is a municipality and village in the Chrudim District, Pardubice Region, Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 9.23 square kilometres (3.56 sq mi), and has a population of approximately 1,200 (as of 2023).
Miřetice is known for its open-air museum, Veselý Kopec, which showcases traditional folk architecture and rural life from the surrounding region of Vysočina. The museum features relocated buildings, including houses, barns, workshops, and a windmill, demonstrating various crafts and trades. Veselý Kopec is a significant cultural attraction in the area.
