Max Franz

Max Franz (born 1 August 1989) is an Austrian World Cup alpine ski racer. He primarily competes in the speed events of downhill and super-G, and has also participated in combined events.

Franz achieved his first World Cup victory in a super-G race in Val Gardena, Italy in December 2016. He has several other World Cup podium finishes in both downhill and super-G.

He has represented Austria at multiple World Championships and Olympic Games. While he has not won a medal at either event, he has consistently placed among the top competitors.

Franz is known for his aggressive and technically proficient skiing style, which makes him a formidable competitor on challenging race courses. His career has seen fluctuations in performance due to injuries, but he remains a prominent figure in the world of alpine skiing.
