Mark Upton (cricketer)

Mark Upton (born 20 July 1966 in Bulawayo, Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe) is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who played in three Test matches and 27 One Day Internationals (ODIs) between 1992 and 1996.

A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler, Upton was a consistent performer in Zimbabwean domestic cricket and earned his international debut during Zimbabwe's inaugural Test series against India in 1992. He primarily played as a middle-order batsman in ODIs and was known for his solid technique and ability to build partnerships.

While his Test career was brief, Upton was a regular member of the Zimbabwean ODI squad for several years, participating in the 1992 and 1996 Cricket World Cups. He scored his highest ODI score of 66 against Sri Lanka in 1994.

After retiring from international cricket, Upton continued to be involved in cricket administration in Zimbabwe.
