John Weston (cricketer)
John Weston was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Cambridge University and Somerset in the late 19th century. Born on February 16, 1860, in Taunton, Somerset, he died on February 19, 1925, in Kensington, London.
A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler, Weston appeared in 17 first-class matches between 1882 and 1886. He scored 357 runs at an average of 12.31, with a highest score of 48. He took 4 wickets at an average of 29.00, with a best bowling performance of 2 for 24.
