Nathaniel Greene (journalist)

Nathaniel Greene was an American journalist and newspaper editor, primarily known for his association with the Boston Gazette during the late 18th century. His political leanings were decidedly anti-Federalist, and his writings often critiqued the policies of the Federalist Party and its leaders, including Alexander Hamilton and John Adams. He was a staunch supporter of Thomas Jefferson and the Democratic-Republican Party. Greene’s work contributed to the heated political debates of the early American republic and helped to shape public opinion regarding issues such as states' rights, the role of the federal government, and foreign policy. He is not to be confused with General Nathanael Greene of the Revolutionary War.
