Little League World Series (Metro Region)

The Metro Region is one of ten regions in Little League Baseball, sending one team to the annual Little League World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The region was established in 2001 when the United States was divided into eight regions. In 2022, the region was realigned with the addition of two more US regions.

The Metro Region currently consists of teams from the following U.S. states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Prior to the 2022 realignment, it also included Pennsylvania.

The winner of the Metro Region tournament earns a spot in the Little League World Series, where they compete against seven other teams from the United States and eight international teams for the world championship. The Metro Region representative is typically a strong contender, with teams from the region having a history of success in the Little League World Series. The tournament leading to the World Series involves district and state level competitions before culminating in the Metro Region tournament itself.
