Bob Mercer (politician)

Bob Mercer is an American politician from South Dakota. He served in the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 9, which includes portions of McCook and Minnehaha counties. A Republican, Mercer was first elected in 2010 and served until 2022.

During his time in the legislature, Mercer was known for his conservative stances and focus on issues such as fiscal responsibility, education, and agriculture. He served on several committees, including the Appropriations Committee, giving him influence over the state's budget. He also served on the Education Committee and the Government Operations and Audit Committee.
