Liliyo
Liliyo is a word used in the Tagalog language, one of the major languages of the Philippines. It translates to "lily" in English. Liliyo, like its English counterpart, typically refers to flowering plants of the genus Lilium within the lily family (Liliaceae). These plants are known for their prominent flowers, which come in a variety of colors and patterns, and their use in ornamental gardens and floral arrangements. While often referring specifically to the Lilium genus, "liliyo" can sometimes be used more broadly to describe similar-looking flowering plants or flowers with a lily-like appearance.
