Russell Webb (musician)
Russell Webb is a British musician, primarily known as a bassist. He is best known for his work with the post-punk band The Skids, joining them in 1979 and contributing to their later albums Days in Europa and Joy. Following the dissolution of The Skids, Webb went on to play with Public Image Ltd (PiL) from 1992 to 1997, appearing on the albums That What Is Not and 9. He has also been involved in other musical projects and collaborations throughout his career. Webb is noted for his distinctive bass playing style, characterized by its melodic lines and inventive rhythms.
