Les Veys
Les Veys is a commune in the Manche department in Normandy, France. It is located on the Cotentin Peninsula. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Carentan-les-Marais. Les Veys was a rural commune known primarily for its agricultural land and location within the Parc naturel régional des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin (Regional Natural Park of the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes). Its economy was largely based on farming and tourism related to the natural park. Before its merger, the postal code for Les Veys was 50500. The inhabitants were known as Veysiens.
