George Lowden (footballer)

George Lowden (born 19 June 1936) is a former Scottish professional footballer who played as a centre forward.

Lowden began his career with Scottish junior club Kirkintilloch Rob Roy before moving to England to join Coventry City in 1958. He made a significant impact at Coventry, becoming a key player in their forward line.

In 1961, Lowden transferred to Watford, where he continued his professional career. After leaving Watford, he played for non-league club Nuneaton Borough.

Following his playing career, Lowden worked in various roles, including within the motor industry.
