Aran Bell
Aran Bell is an American ballet dancer. He is currently a principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre (ABT).
Bell received his early training at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. He joined the ABT Studio Company in 2014 and became an apprentice with the main company in 2016. He was promoted to the corps de ballet in 2017, soloist in 2019, and principal dancer in 2020.
Bell's repertoire includes principal roles in numerous classical ballets, such as Swan Lake, Don Quixote, The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, La Bayadère, Coppélia, and Giselle. He has also performed in contemporary works by choreographers such as Alexei Ratmansky, Christopher Wheeldon, and Wayne McGregor.
Bell has received critical acclaim for his technical proficiency, stage presence, and artistry. He has also won several awards and honors throughout his career.
