Nocturna (band)

Nocturna is an Italian gothic metal band formed in 2021. The band is fronted by vocalists Grace Darkling and Rehn Stillnight, creating a dual female vocal dynamic that is a core element of their sound. Their music incorporates elements of symphonic metal, darkwave, and gothic rock, characterized by melodic songwriting, atmospheric soundscapes, and contrasting vocal styles ranging from operatic soaring to harsher, more aggressive delivery.

Nocturna's lyrical themes often explore dark and romantic subjects, drawing inspiration from literature, mythology, and personal experiences. The band released their debut album, Paradox, in January 2022 via Scarlet Records. They have since performed at various festivals and venues across Europe, gaining recognition for their distinctive sound and theatrical stage presence. The band consists of Grace Darkling (vocals), Rehn Stillnight (vocals), Federico Mondelli (guitars), Alessandro Cappellotto (guitars), Marco Basile (bass), and Sebastiano Dolzani (drums). Their sophomore album, Of Sorcery and Darkness, was released in 2024.
