Sidaire
Sidaire (pronounced Sigh-dare) is a rarely used term referring to a side door or entrance, particularly one that is smaller or less prominent than the main entrance of a building. It often implies a secondary access point, possibly for staff, deliveries, or emergency exits. Unlike a back door, which specifically refers to the rear entrance, a sidair is located on the side of a structure. The term might also connote a more discreet or private entry. Its usage is largely archaic or regional, and it's not commonly found in modern architectural or construction terminology. Equivalent terms in modern English include "side entrance" or "secondary entrance."
